    Brief Description

The Christmas Village of the Paniteños is a beautiful blend of Filipino and Western traditions, celebrating love, unity, and cultural harmony. It reflects both local heritage and global holiday customs, creating an inclusive and festive atmosphere. At its heart is the Belen—a humble Nativity scene symbolizing the birth of Jesus Christ. It reflects Paniteño values of modesty and hope, reminding everyone of the true meaning of Christmas.

Colorful parols (Filipino Christmas lanterns) light up the village and streets, symbolizing hope, unity, and cultural pride. They are joined by decorations made of anahaw leaves and vines, representing the resilience and strength of the Paniteño people.

Western influences also enrich the celebration. Santa Claus, Christmas trees, and gift-giving bring joy to children and families, adding a universal touch to the season. A heart-shaped tunnel of lights creates a magical and uplifting atmosphere, drawing people together in celebration.

For the children, the village features playful attractions like a foam machine that simulates snow and a festive Christmas train that tours the plaza. These bring delight and wonder to young hearts, helping them cherish the spirit of Paskwa sa Panitan.
