    Brief Description

Celebrating Christmas Season is the most awaited holiday that we are all celebrating because it is full of colors, full of lights, love and hope. We, Dumalagnon joyfully celebrates our Christmas Season by transforming our Dumalag Town plaza into a magical new attraction bringing back happy memories of our childhood that reflects the values depicting the way Capisnons’ celebrate Christmas and Highlighting local products and festivities of Dumalag.

The design concept of the proposed Christmas Village is a Paskong Pinoy theme incorporating Christmas Parols and Heart shaped parol with assorted colors, lights, belen and Christmas tree.

The perimeter of the town plaza is surrounded with heart shape parol with red, yellow and white colors, it is a representation of how loving (red), caring (yellow), and sincere/pure (white) hearted we Dumalagnons are. And different lights symbolizes victory of light over darkness as well as hope and goodwill. The Belen symbolizes love and strong family ties, reminding us that Christmas season is not only about receiving and giving gifts but it is also the best time for a family to be united and celebrates Christmas together. The Christmas Tree called ā€œTHE GUGMA TREEā€ it is accentuated by heart shape parols and colourful Christmas balls that represents how colourful and happy the life as Dumalagnons and it signify that even though we have differences and different colors we are united as one. Parols in the streets signify the Unity of Dumalagnons as it was made by the people of Dumalag. It is one of the positive attributes that we Dumalagnons must be proud of. This brings people together, as it shows that every individual is celebrating the same holiday, spreading and showing the essence and the spirit of Christmas to one another.
