    Brief Description

                The Christmas is one of the most important and beloved holidays in the Philippines. It is a Christian Festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ, as we welcome and acknowledge Him as our saviour. For many Filipinos, Christmas is about spending time with their family, eating delicious traditional food, exchanging gifts and also spreading love and positivity to our community.

                 Beyond the festive decorations, delightful feasts, sparkling lights, and enchanting music, Christmas offers a positive impact on our society. It encourages family gathering and reconnecting with loved once in creating lasting memories, promotes spirit of giving, and enhance social cohesion.

                 Christmas traditions of Filipinos hold a deep connection to their religious devotion. with symbolism playing a significant role. To set an example, our iconic Parol, popularly known as a hanging stars on our streets and homes, is a traditional Filipino Christmas lantern that symbolizes the "Star of Bethlehem" that guided the three wise men to manger where Jesus Christ was born.

                 The concept of this year's Jamindan Christmas Village mini representation of Filipino Christmas. It generally focuses on "Pangahaw Festival", which showcases the abundant resources Jamindan could offer. The village becomes a manifestation of the deeply rooted values and cultural richness of Jamindanganons. It serves as a symbol of unity, where the entire community joins together to build and transform the village using their local resources into a captivating displays and festive decorations which create a sense of joy and excitement to everyone.

                 Through this unique tradition, the spirit of giving and sharing, which are intrinsic to the Filipino Christmas, flourishes, making the Jamindan Christmas village a heartwarming testament to the enduring and inclusive nature of this beloved holiday.

                 By incorporating native and natural resources such as abaca, cogon, & rattan, into this project, it will not only be creating a festive atmosphere but also embracing the rich cultural heritage of Jamindan. The use of indigenous materials not only adds authenticity but also showcases the sustainable and eco-friendly aspects of the community, fostering a sense of harmony with nature.

                 In this way, the Jamindan Christmas village becomes more than just a collection of decorations: it becomes a representation of the unity, traditions, and environmental consciousness that define the Filipino Christmas experience, making it a truly unique and heartwarming celebration.
