About The Festival
The Municipality of Tapaz conceived the Patabang Festival to embody the spirit of the Tapaznon community. Rooted in the values of generosity and mutual aid, “Patabang" reflects the culture of helping one another, whether it's working together during planting and harvest seasons, moving a house, or preparing food for thanksgiving. This bayanihan spirit is a cornerstone of the Tapaznon way of life. The Patabang Festival, celebrated annually from September21-30, highlights this enduring tradition of communal support and cooperation.
