About The Festival
The word "dinagsa"signifes a gathering or alarge group of people coming together in numbers. Dinagsa Festival, held on the last Sunday of January, is a religious celebration in honor of the Child Jesus. Sponsored by the Sison Family since the 1940s, this festival has grown from a simple procession around the plaza into a lively sadsad, or street merrymaking throughout the main streets of the poblacion. At its heart, the festivalis ajoyful expression of the Dumalagnons' gratitude for the blessings they have received.
