About The Festival
Every September 14-22, the Municipality of Dao celebrates its annual fiesta in honor of its patron saint, Sto. Tomas de Villanueva, under the theme "PASALAMAT." This celebration is a vibrant showcase of Dao's rich culture and heritage, uniting the Daonhons in gratitude for the blessings of health and prosperity. The streets come alive with colorful decorations, lively parades, traditional dances, and local delicacies, filling the air with joy and thanksgiving. More than a religious event, the fiesta is a time for reflection, unity, and gratitude, reinforcing the community's deep faith and commitment to their cultural roots. Through "PASALAMAT," the people of Dao celebrate their blessings and their strong community spirit.
