In the foothills by Suhot Spring, covered by lush vegetation and overgrown trees, lies a network of subterranean limestone caves and sinkholes carved by water and adorned with various types of stalactites, developed by the constant dripping of rainforest water. Thousands of years ago, water receded from the cave formations, revealing fossils of fresh water shells imbedded at the foothill along the walls of Suhot caves. The Firmalino family, owners of the estate, called the place “kaCuevahan”, now known as Caveland Park.
